Excellent introduction to local life in a fast developing town
We were advised to go on the early evening tour when the town is both cool and lively. Mahmoud was very knowledgeable and interesting on a wide range of subjects such as the development of Hurghada and economic matters. He has very good English. Absolutely fantastic excursion and 100% recommend it! We had a great private transfer in a lovely air-conditioned car, with a brilliant driver who made the whole journey comfortable and enjoyable. Our tour guide was excellent and really knowledgeable. We visited a beautiful mosque and were given lots of interesting history and information about it. We then explored the old town, visited local shops and had the opportunity to try some traditional local products. We also visited Hurghada Marina, which was really interesting, and had some time afterwards to do a bit of shopping. The whole trip was well organised, relaxed and enjoyable, and the guide and driver were both fantastic. 100% recommend this excursion, especially for the money we paid — excellent value for money!
